Amy Sinclair is a jurist on a mission to support African legal professionals, journalists and judiciaries to more deeply understand and uphold human rights law across the continent. Formerly Managing Editor of AfricanLII (2018-2020), she worked with worked with national partner organisations leading the Free Access to Law Movement in Africa to more effectively collect, index, editorialise and visually present case law to diverse users. She has also specialised in working with of judiciaries and court staff to devise bespoke strategies and practices to deliver access to justice for all Africans. Amy's current role is Research Coordinator at Dutch non-profit Free Press Unlimited, where she is working to support investigations into and prosecutions of political murders of journalists in developing and fragile states.
